TotalEdit

TotalEdit is a text edition tool designed and thought to replace the notepad.

It offers many more options than the built-in notepad and it's more useful, so it's a good idea to replace it.

You can work in different tabs, write in unicode or UTF-8, preview HTML, launch the console as CMD,... Insert images when editing text, copy, paste, cut, highlight,...

As you can see this is more than a simple notepad, but it is as easy to use as the basic one.

TotalEdit is a very interesting choice if you usually miss any extra function while using Notepad but you don't want to install and use a more difficult and complex program.
